The RERE Group team returns from the Latvian Construction Annual Awards 2019 with a handful of prizes!

RERE Group was awarded two prizes in the most important awards ceremony in the industry: under the nomination “Restoration” (1st place thanks to the restoration of Jelgava Old Town lodge) and under the nomination “Industrial Construction” (3rd place thanks to the construction of a production facility in Valka).

Overall, 162 applications under 10 different nominations were submitted for the building evaluation competition in Latvia.

At the final ceremony of the Latvian Construction Annual Awards 2019, the Memorial Award of Roberts Vecums-Veco was also presented. The Memorial Award was given to restorer Juris Pavlovs. To congratulate the recipient of the special award, Guntis Āboltiņš-Āboliņš, the head of RERE Group, said: "In Robert's words, the soul is the best mirror of a good restorer – a skilful approach to the job at hand. A good restorer is an idealist at heart. It is this mission that will help to preserve the contribution of arts and crafts as well as create and renew Latvian construction culture in the future.”
