RERE Grupa participates in ERASMUS+ stategic partnership project “Ensuring of experts in the construcion industry in the European Union”

Taking care of the future of the construction industry and engaging in the process of the education of qualified future construction specialists, the construction company RERE Grupa cooperates with various vocational education institutions, including Zaļenieki Secondary School of Commerce and Crafts, where our colleague Elga Zariņa is a teacher of restoration studies. The school participates in the Erasmus+ strategic partnership project “Ensuring of Experts in the Construction Industry in the European Union”.

This week, the participants of this EU project visited Latvia and arrived in Zaļenieki. Representatives of our company had an opportunity to give some insight into the current topicalities, achievements and problems in the construction industry of Latvia to representatives of Latvian vocational education institutions and experts from Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Romania. These issues were highlighted at the meeting by our colleague Mārīte Straume, whereas our designing business manager Pēteris Druķis acquainted the participants with the application of information digitalisation, 3D scanning and BIM methods in our restoration projects as well as future perspectives and benefits of these technologies, also rousing interest and the involvement of young people in the construction industry. Practical restoration experience was shared by our experts Roberts Vecums-Veco and Eduards Krilovs.
