Results of the competition “Latvian Construction Industry's Annual Award 2017”

At a solemn awarding ceremony, which took place on 7 March 2018 in VEF Culture Palace, the winners of the competition of the best buildings in Latvia “Latvian Construction Industry's Annual Award 2017” and the competition “Construction Engineer of the Year in Latvia 2017” were announced. 

• In the nomination “New public building”,  3rd place was awarded to 1st stage works of the new building of block A of SLLC “Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital”, Pilsoņu Street 13, Riga. The customer is SLLC “Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital”. Design – “JKMM Architects” (Finland); sketch design – “JKMM Architects” in cooperation with the architect’s office “NAMS”; development of construction design and author's supervision – “SARMA&NORDE”. The constructor – GP “SBRE”, responsible construction manager – Valdis Koks. Construction supervision – Rihards Ābols.
• In the nomination “New public building”, gratitude for diligent performance was received by Demolition and new building of SFRS depot building and auxiliary building, Dzirnavu Street 2A, Ape. The customer – Provision State Agency. Construction design – Ēriks Zīle, “Sestais stils”, Aleksandrs Čiņajevs, “Komunālprojekts”. The constructor – ”RERE Būve”, project manager – Arvis Mūrnieks. Construction supervision – Pēteris Gudrinieks, GP “Akorda un KPR”.
• In the nomination “Facade renovation”, gratitude for a diligent performance was received by Facade of Riga 1st Hospital, Block 13, Bruņinieku Street 5k-1, Riga. The customer – Property Department of Riga City Council. Design – Anna Vasiļjeva. The constructor – “RERE Meistari”, project manager – Andris Kalniņš.
